Our fraud alert of June 2026, and how to check that a message really comes from us.
Fraud Alert - June 2026
We have recently detected a new scam carried out impersonating Antonio Arenas, our Managing Partner. The impersonator, using WhatsApp, texts to members of the public pretending to be Antonio, telling them that he has recently changed his mobile phone number, attempting to deceive the recipient.
Scornik Gerstein LLP would like to make it clear that this is a fraudulent practice. We are not the sender of those messages and would certainly not communicate via WhatsApp to indicate that our contact or bank account details have recently changed.
Important reminders:
- We will only contact you through the telephone numbers published on our official website: www.scornik.com.
- Our official email accounts always end in @scornik.com.
- Our website has a dedicated section where you can find the full list of people who are part of the Scornik Gerstein LLP team.
- Always check the web address of the site you are browsing and ensure it is exactly www.scornik.com, not any other variation.
If you receive any doubtful notification, message, or call that appears to come from us, please contact us directly using the published phone numbers before taking any action.
We appreciate your attention and cooperation in helping us maintain a secure and transparent environment for everyone.
